I have been awake for ages and am coming to the conclusion that sleep is something I used to do. I have a new motto too - Sleep when you are Dead - so for now 4 hours a night seems my quota.
I don't have much time now, we are catching a train into St Andrews at 8 but I want to keep up to date and load some pictures.
We drove through some wonderful countryside yesterday, Loch Lomond and Sterling Castle. A pub lunch in bright sunshine where my shoulders caught a bit of sun (Colette said I should tell Lucie that and she would never believe me). The whisky tour was so interesting and when I get home I need to read the labels on Michael's many bottles of Scottish whisky and Irish whiskEy unused gifts and start sampling.
We spent the night with family of friends of our hosts. The house is a renovated mill which they converted from a ruin. Right out of that TV show Design Homes wth that man with the amazing voice (Kevin, I think).
Well I am waffling. I need to get ready for our day on the Old Course. The sky is grey, there could be rain but this exactly what I imagined Scotland to be (and more). There is going to have to be some negotiations as well between Michael and I about who we are going to follow. My ultimate 3 ball would be - Faldo, Donald and Mickelson (or Tiger). I don t think Michael would mind Donald and Faldo but would not want to be near the other two. Some negotiation is going to be needed or I could loose my husband for the day. Our plan is to walk the course and great that during rounds cameras are allowed.
Best I get a move on and decide what clothing is needed for today.
